About Us

Derek and Shalyn have both grown up here in Juneau and feel very close to the community. Derek retired from a decade in the military and returned to Juneau to pursue a dream of his working on and around the ocean. He got his boat captains license and drove whale watch tours and fishing charters as well as a film crew for an Alaskan TV Show. Working on the boats got him thinking about the mechanics of it all. He stepped away from driving and fully emerged himself in outboard mechanics. He is now a certified Mercury Marine Technician on his way to receiving his Master Tech license and absolutely loves the work he does. Outside of outboard mechanics Derek loves sports, especially football. Has worked in the community as a High School Football coach and taught boxing.

Shalyn is born and raised here in Juneau and the marine life was instilled in her from day one, as it is with most Southeast Alaska kids :). Her parents owned a Marine Sales and Service business for 30 years and she had the opportunity to learn about the business from a very early age. From cleaning the yard and counting inventory as a kid/teen, to managing the office and helping run the business as an adult. Her dream was to start something like that with her family, which brings us right to where we are doing exactly that! She has always been very involved with local events and fundraisers and hopes to continue that representing their business.

Aria was born in December 2021, and Daxton was born May 2024! They were both on a boat within the first 6 months of life, and "caught" their first fish soon there after. Aria is the main inspiration of the name of this company as A.L.L is her initials. We are excited to watch them grow and hopefully love the ocean as much as their mom and dad!
